Walker Brothers was a popular business in the Detroit area that offered catering in addition to its at least 14 restaurants.

"The City of Detroit, Michigan, 1701-1922, Volume 3" includes information on the founding of Walker Bros. and refers to the business initially as caterers. But then it goes on to talk about its chain of 12 restaurants. Click here to read a PDF with this information.

By 1926, that number had expanded, as newspapers in that year carried stories of a "street holdup in front of a Walker Brothers lunch room in Michigan Avenue today netted two armed men $5,000 collections from part of the Walker chain of 14 restaurants."

This tiny creamer is unbelievably heavy for its size, and we included a photo of the rim to indicate the thickness of the walls. Also note the solid handle; this shape is not found in the Carr 1934 catalog. It must have been among Carr's first chapes. The following is the text on the backstamp (that is hard to read):
