China shards dug from the Carr site show that Maythorne was produced in at least the following combinations: blue on white, green on white, and brown on Glo-Tan, as shown at left.

Below, a new color variation is black on white on what appears to be an older Carr oval bowl. Notice how the bottom has no raised foot. We associate that with early ware. The distributor for this piece was Cullen's, of Knoxville, TN.
